The miniature hand painting is extremely well made and is a rare item dating from the 1930's, of Italian origin.
Round oval miniature 55 x 45 mm ( 2.2x 1.8 in.) in a finely worked Sterling Silver Frame of 75 x 80 mm ( 3 x 3.2 in.) excluding bale. The inner part of the frame is guilloché.
The miniature is all hand made and signed.
Sterling hallmarks indicating 925 silver purity which was the norm for 20th century Italian Sterling.
Total weight : 34.5 grams.
The frame has a collapsible foot so one can put on standing on a table and it may be hung on the wall if desired as it has also a bale ( see pictures)
This is a really unique item rarely seen. In pristine condition.
