Antique MOP & Sterling Silver Highly Exceptional Catholic Rosary w Many Rare Antique Medals

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection.
They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old.
All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

The very exceptional and unique item in this listing, which is totally hand made by me, has the following characteristics:

1- The beads are all vintage beads of a New Old Stock dating from the 1920’s - from my private collection – Quality of the beads is exceptional as may be seen from close ups.

2- They have been newly capped with sterling silver beadcaps and mounted in chain form, using a sturdy sterling silver wire.

3- Ave Mother of Pearl beads have a size of 8.5 mm diameter round beads. The Pater beads are MOP 10.5 mm beads, capped with sterling silver bead caps.

4- The parts of chain used are from a handmade old chain dating from the 1940’s.

5- The medals are antiques and originals, all in sterling silver, dating from early 20th Century. This first communion medal has a Gold Chalice and dates very probably from the late 19th Century. It is in pristine condition.

6- The rosary ends with a XIXth century Mother of Pearl and Sterling crucifix in excellent, near mint condition.

8- Total weight of the rosary is a heavy 122 grams.

9- Total length is 69 cm or 272 in. !!!!

10- All metal parts are sterling silver. More than 65 grams ( 2.1 troy ounces) of sterling silver content in this rosary !!
