Mid 19th Cent Bavarian Coral & Sterling Silver Catholic Chain Rosary with Unique Agnus Dei Medal - Xtreme Rarity

All Antique and Vintage Rosaries that I list come from my private collection. They are genuine antiques – older than 100 years – or genuine vintages – from 30 to 100 years old. All are in perfect condition and still very much usable. They are unique and a real pleasure to collect or still use.

This is a Bavarian Catholic 5 decade Chain rosary dating from the mid 19th.

1. 6.5 x 5.5 mm on average Vintage Dark Salmon Coral drum beads for the Ave Marias with an awesome color and beautiful shine. It is quite unusual to find Bavarian Rosaries with coral beads. This is 19th Century Mediterranean ( very probably Sardinian ) coral of great quality impossible to find today. Shape and slightly varying size clearly shows hand carving of beads.

2. 11 mm dia. Filigree Silver Pater Beads typically Bavarian.

3. Sterling Silver Filigree Credo cross 32 x 34 mm.

4. The rosary terminates with a wonderful medal in a stunning sterling silver filigree frame. The medal represents the Agnus Dei on one side and JHS on the other side

5. Total length of the rosary is 56 cm ( 22.4 in.) and its weight is 52 grams.

This item will easily go over the head ( any size) and will be awesome when worn.

This is a very special example of the Bavarian Filigree silver chained Rosaries in 5 decades. It is a great item of extreme rarity, in pristine condition, to own in a collection as well as use in everyday life as it is very practical to use.
