Presented here is a very special, thus rare, porcelain medal of Saint Rita. It is a hand painted miniature on porcelain, then Enameled and Kiln fired and inserted in a hand made Sterling Silver frame.
Such medals of St Rita are very seldom seen.
Origin of the miniature is very probably Spain or Italy
The medal is in pristine condition and it is sold WITH the chain in the picture.
The chain is a Sterling silver chain. . The chain is not of the same period but also vintage.
The chain is 42 cm long . All metal parts are Sterling Silver
It is a very fine and nice item to wear. With its very special shape it is quite unique.
