Presented here is an early 20th Century medal of our Lady of Carmel. It is a hand painted Miniature on porcelain, then enameled and Kiln fired and inserted in a beautiful stylized Silver hand made frame that has been gold plated .
The obverse is plain.
The hand work is very fine and shows a beautiful portrait of Mary.
The medal is in pristine condition.
It is sold either together WITH the Gold Plated Sterling Silver Figaro chain in the picture Or WITHOUT the Chain optionally. The chain is of a more recent date.
It is a very fine and nice item to wear, of great rarity, very probably unique
Size of the medal is 28 mm in diameter or 1.12 in. ( excluding bail)
The Chain is 50 cm ( 20 in.) long and weighs 3.2 grams of Gold plated 925 Silver
